| Description | The new USS Halo and USS Leonidas are on an urgent mission of scientific significance. Since joining the federation, the Romulans' records that have been made available to Starfleet have indicated that an old Romulan archaeology dig had potentially discovered a significant Iconian site on a planet a mere 3 days away from SB113. The Halo's mission is to go and meet a small Romulan science team on the planet and resume the archaeological studies there. |

Mission Summary
Major plot points:
-The ship embarks the Fed science team and heads for the planet on their new ship. Theybhave only been aboard for a few weeks.
-They arrive at they planet, meet the Romulans and begin doing research and setting up the camp.
-Someone finds a hidden entrance to a massive underground Iconian structure resembling a government building, or a temple. Upon investigating the structure, the crew find an Iconian gateway that is stuck on one destination point. Through the gateway, the crew can only see a red sky and dustblown desert on the other side.
-An away team is sent through the gateway, and what they find shocks them.
-A few of the romulans on their science team, turn out to be rogue Tal Shiar, who are opposed to them joining the Federation.
-A scramble ensues to save a hostage from the tal shiar agents. And on the other side of the gateway, the away team makes several shocking discoveries that raises more questions then answers
