Welcome to Beta Quadrant Operational Theater / Task Force 17 – Frontier Operations
Headquarters: Starbase 113 – Zytchin System - Zytchin III
We’re excited to welcome you to the front lines of Starfleet’s boldest initiative. The USS Halo isn’t just a roleplay—it’s your gateway to a living, evolving universe where your creativity, passion, and character can thrive.
Task Force 17 serves as Starfleet’s shield along the Federation frontier. From our headquarters at Starbase 113, deep within the strategically vital Zytchin system, we stand ready to confront danger, foster diplomacy, and push the boundaries of exploration.
The Story Begins…
Set in the year 2403, our story unfolds in the aftermath of Frontier Day, heavily inspired by Star Trek: Picard. Though the Borg and Changeling threat was contained, intelligence now reveals a far more insidious danger: Section 31 sleeper cells operating deep within Federation territory. Their hidden agenda threatens peace, stability, and the very ideals of the Federation.
As part of the USS Halo's crew, your mission is simple but critical:
Uncover hidden threats
Uphold the Federation's principles
Explore the unknown
Face the challenges of life in deep space
Why Join Us?
The USS Halo is more than a starship—it’s a community driven by collaboration, compelling storytelling, and character growth. Whether you’re here to explore, protect, lead, or heal, this is your chance to help shape the future of Starfleet and the frontier beyond.
Together, we will face the unknown—boldly, with courage, resilience, and integrity.
Are you ready to make your mark on the stars?

Mission: Episode 1 "Operation Iron Justice" USS Halo, Star Base 113, USS Vigilance
Posted on 2026, Thu Mar 19th, @ 12:35am by Lieutenant Commander Jep Fallo
When Lt Fallo reported for duty the morning after the mass briefing jn the concert hall, Fleet Captain House was standing in the centrw of the bridge with a red shirted JG. Though the Bajoran man appeared a bit old for most JGs, the unassuming Grazerite didnt think twice about it.
"Ah, Lt Fallo, just the man we're waiting for. Let me introduce Lt JG Here's, he'll be replacing you as the head of flight control." House said.((feel free to edit House))
"Greetings...replace me sir?" Jep shook the Lts hand before turning to House.

Posted on 2026, Thu Mar 19th, @ 12:00am by Captain Rhyx Kade & Captain Samuel Woolheater & Lieutenant Daven Voss
Captain Kade stood at the shuttle bay awaiting the Arrival of Voss and Woolheater, Kade was one of the few that knew about the Marines mission, Kades mission was to drop him off at a civilain transport sector to allow the Marine to have more of a back story rather than just appearing out of no where on Zytchin.
Lieutenant Daven Voss arrived at the shuttle bay with characteristic precision—exactly on schedule, carrying a secure data case containing Captain Woolheater's final operational materials and backup documentation. The past four days had been spent ensuring that Elias Mercer's legend was as…

Mission: Episode 1 "Operation Iron Justice" USS Halo, Star Base 113, USS Vigilance
Posted on 2026, Mon Mar 16th, @ 12:30pm by Commander Ralen Thira
The shuttle did not merely dock with the USS Halo.
It was received.
Flight Control had cleared Bay Two ahead of schedule. Deck crews stood in tighter formation than usual. Even the ambient noise of the massive compartment seemed to quiet as the small Starfleet courier settled onto the deck with a controlled hiss of maneuvering thrusters.
Mag-clamps locked.
Containment field shimmered.
Green status lights rippled across the bay.
Commander Ralen Thira remained seated until the engines powered down completely.
A veteran’s habit.
She rose only when the hatch indicators confirmed safe atmospheric integration. Her uniform — Picard-era cut, command…

Corporal Roy Fitzroy had headaches on top of his headaches. Commander Titus had stated OH hell NO!. Not that he had used those exact words, but the meaning was clear when Roy had requested priority access to stellar cartography's main lab / Holodeck and computer system.
After spending 30 seconds to figure out who was who in that department Roy was shocked to find out he would be dealing with a dolphin. He knew that there were members in starfleet who inhabited bodily forms other than human, he met hundreds back at the academy. But actually working with dolphins...

Mission: Episode 2 "Demons of the Past, Friends of the Future" - USS Halo
Posted on 2026, Thu Feb 26th, @ 12:57am by Captain Samuel Woolheater & Lieutenant Daven Voss
Lieutenant Daven Voss sat across from Captain Woolheater in one of the secure briefing rooms, a stack of PADDs and data isolinear chips arranged with precise organization on the table between them. He'd spent the past seventy-two hours building what he considered one of the most comprehensive cover identities he'd ever created, and the professional pride was evident in how he'd structured the briefing materials.
"Captain Woolheater," Daven began, sliding the primary PADD across the table. "Your new identity. Elias Mercer. Interstellar Infrastructure Stabilization Specialist—which is essentially a reconstruction engineer. Someone who helps rebuild city and planetary infrastructure after disasters…

Samuel looked at his quarters now that they were completely empty. His personal things, which weren’t much to begin with, were gone. They didn’t even tell him where they put his things.
Something about not knowing would help.
It was like attending one’s own funeral except not a ghost just yet. When he left these quarters the lock behind would scramble and he’d not be able to get back in. He was wearing civilian clothes now, he was walking like Elias Mercer, talking like him…thinking like him.
Sam sat down in front of the LCARS terminal and recorded what he…

I lean back in my chair with my legs extended, my arms crossed on my stomach, and my eyes closed. I’m not napping, Denobulans don’t nap, I am not even meditating, but I’m closer to the latter than the former. I’m just in the moment, getting the feel for my new ship, my new assignment.
I can hear the faint hum of the aquarium I’ve just set up. Getting the right balance of chemicals, temperature, and saltiness each time I move is always tricky, even with the tricorder, which I almost always carry. But it’s an enjoyable challenge that has…

First Officer's log supplemental.
While this is my first duty station for Starfleet, I am happy to announce that I'm the new Executive Officer on Starbase 113. Happily to say, I'm pleased with this assignment. Nevertheless, being on the starbase was actually something I wanted to do. Starships isn't exactly my forte, but Starbase 113 has been. It has been a dream to be on board.
Furthermore, I must say adjusting to the new environment has been exceptionally well for my transition. Never have I once ever thought that being on Starbase 113 would come true, but it did.

Ahhhhhhh, so, I heard from Jack(Cdr Jack Riley, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence to Starfleet CnC FAdm Pat Lovell) today...the rumors are true, Prez pulled the rug out from under us again. And all this politicing is happening while the Flagship of the biggest and most forward deployed Task Force in thenfleet is missing in a mirror fucking universe...
Anyway, long story short Jack basically hinted that i should take the Resolute to the last know location of the Halo and be ready to do...something, he couldn't say what, as it…

The Federation treats us like slaves. SLAVES I SAY. We make it possible for them to travel at very high warp speeds safety, and how do they repay us? With apartheid and slavery thats how. Oh sure, they give us all the food we want, they give us freedom to do whatever we want, the assign humanoid officers to cater to us 24 hours a day, they bring us toys and even come swimming with us sometimes...but its still all garbage. They dont let hs serve in other roles because of their anti flipper pro thumb racist policies. I got…
