| Physical Description | Samuel Woolheater is a lean, muscular, shredded Marine Sniper. Hitting the gym and keeping his body in shape and ready is important to him. He trains because readiness matters. His strength is functional and balanced, built for endurance, speed, and control rather than raw bulk. He is not muscle bound, but he fills out a uniform in a way that leaves no doubt he belongs in it. He has tattoos on his legs and calves. His back and front. Some on his upper arms and forearms. None of them feel ornamental. They look earned. Body Art: Tattoos: Samuel has tattoos all over his body. But, they are all regulation and from time to time, he visits the tattoo studios to change them and put new ones on. His hair is cropped short and always kept neat and clean edges. He has a great smile that warms up the room and a laugh that is contagious. His eyes are bright and alert. His voice carries a pronounced Georgia and Alabama drawl that he no longer hears himself. To others it sounds like warm Scotch whiskey, smooth and easy, calm in a way that suggests very little truly rattles him. Layered beneath it is a clipped Pacifican influence. Together they create longer vowel sounds, a softer baritone, and a slower, deliberate pacing when he speaks. Sam does not rush his words. He lets silence do its work. He rarely raises his voice, except on the battlefield, where it becomes sharp, commanding, and unmistakable. Sam wears dog tags even though they are no longer routinely issued by the SFMC. He keeps them around his neck. One is from home and the others he makes for where he is posted. He rises early, runs in the morning, gym after that and then hits the range. He’d rather be outdoors in nature than in an office. Samuel Woolheater is calm, capable, and unmistakably a Marine, not because he tries to be, but because everything about him already is. |

| General Overview | Sam is a friendly and outgoing person. He is the Marine you want in the foxhole with you. Sam does stand-up comedy at the drop of a hat. He is a good listener, loyal, his crewmates Marine or Fleet are family to him. “Brothers from other Mothers”. He is kind. He has a heart for justice. He knows what is right and what is wrong. His moral compass is intact. Sam believes in the Federation and the ideas it represents. He believes that the future demands collaboration and working together. He hates bullies. He fights for the underdog. And sometimes, that means sending in Starfleet Marines to prevent a situation from escalating. Or, bringing a escalated fight to an end. Either way, the future belongs to peacmakers. He respects all people and all walks of life and firmly believes our diversity is Starfleet’s strength. Sam always has colorful, well-worn t-shirts with all kinds of pithy sayings or humorous lines on them. Sure to make you laugh. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Loyalty to what is right An excellent Marine Sniper and has an eye for reading terrain. A natural born leader Weaknesses: Perfectionist. He can be picky. Taking care of Marine gear is a big one and he’s tough on doing it right. Compartmentalizes emotion. He’s hard to read sometimes and is accused of having no feelings. He just doesn’t know how to express them all the time. Independent. He is trained to act on his own for long periods of time in RECON or Sniper duty. Then, when the mission is over he has a hard time coming down. It makes it difficult keeping relationships and friendships. He just needs, sometimes, longer downtimes. |

| Ambitions | For six-months, Sam got to have Marine Security for a Diplomatic outpost at Fontalis. And he fell in love with that place. A planet far off from most Federation outposts and as gorgeous as Eden herself. He would like to retire there and live a quiet, happy, married life raising guard dogs and companion dogs. For a career ambition he would like to gain experience in other Marine specialties and command troops. He would then like to teach Marksmanship at Camp Falkirk for the next generation of Marine Marksmen Sam wants to have a family. And yet he knows that he’s asking a lot of someone else to live with him. Even so, je still thinks that there might be some angel “out there” who can see him, without the armor, and still see someone worth building a life with. |

| Personal History | Samuel is from a human colonist family to Pacifica. When people from Earth started to move out and colonize and live on other planets, his family emigrated from Earth to Pacifica. Sam’s father is a hard working deep sea diver maintenance worker. Building underwater infrastructure. Sam’s oldest brother works as an Attorney. His older sister, Maredith, works for the United Federation of Planets government offices on Pacifica. Benjamin, his older brother has his own repulsorlift anti0gravity motorbike shop where he builds custom lift bikes for racing. Samuel is the youngest, the baby brother who became a Marine. He enlisted at age 18 and trained for a primary MOS 0317 Scout Sniper / Long-range overwatch; reconnaissance; precision interdiction. SFMC Boot Camp – Parris Island Training Depot (2393) Woolheater enlisted in the Starfleet Marine Corps at age 18 and completed recruit training at the Parris Island Depot.
