Mission: Episode 1A "Shadows of the Empire"
Location: Personal Quarters
Timeline: Departure, T pluss five hours

The trouble ticket class red...In the dark of the night after a long day. You just got off of your shift. All that you want is to just relax after you clean up and you find out your shower is streaming cool aide at 99 degrees and it is getting everywhere.... And looks purple...

Larry had his engineering repair kit, over powered tricorder, and him self out side of Commanders Townsend's state room door. Larry pushed the announcement indicator.

All the sudden the sounds of a young baby started. Then..."Who ever at that door better have a good reason for waking my newborn up or they are gonna pay a heavy price!" A Few seconds later, Kate Townsend slide the doors open carrying a little baby boy who was now drinking a bottle.

Larry stood speechless, looking at the small child. He knew they happened; it was life. But to walk up to one on a starship was a little unusual. "Umm. eeerrr, Sorry mam, I'm here to fix a ...PURPLE shower?" Larry said, more as a question than as a statement. Looking at the baby drinking from the bottle, he managed, "Erm, I can come back later, if now is inconvenient?"

After a few seconds looking at the child, he finally dragged his eyes back to the commander's face, then said," You have purple hair... Is that due to the ... malfunctioning... bathroom equipment?" Looking back down at the child, he saw how fragile the child looked., " Then said, "is this the terrible twos's? or does that happen later?"

"Does this look like the terrible twos? If so, yes! Now, please get my shower fixed?" Kate said as she cleared the doorway.

Larry quickly headed to the bathroom and started using his souped-up tricorder. After 30 seconds, he noticed a strange fungal build-up in the water generator feed pump. Pulling the small cartridge out of the feeder system. Larry then opened up a hazardous materials bag and dropped the contaminated cartridge in the hazmat bag. After sealing it, Larry replaced the bad component. This process was simple, and took less time than pulling the old part out. Pulling out a sterilization field generator. He used this piece of equipment, rather excessively to make sure all traces of the strange bacteria/fungal contamination was eradicated completely. Larry ran his tricorder over the whole replicator system just in case. Larry found no further contamination. Closing up the system, Larry then packed up is tools in his toolkit. Pulling out the Cleaning rag that absorbed contaminants and grease, Larry wiped down all the surfaces he could reach. "This should be good enough." Larry said. Looking around one last time, Larry left the room for the exit. Telling Commander Townsend, "I found and fixed the Problem. A bacteria or fungus similar to a type of bacteria that makes Yogurt was contaminating the replicator feed system. I have removed the contaminated part and sterilized the whole unit. Your ummm.... purple hair problem is at an end."

"Thanks, Will make sure to put in the good word to Chris, Now the hair? Will deal with it later, Thanks again" Kate told Larry as he hurried out the door.

Larry to one last look at the young child in Commander Townsend's arms, and departed hurriedly.
